Hypnosis for Migraine Headaches
The idea of migraine hypnotherapy might seem like a contradiction in terms. How does your subconscious affect the physical nature of your body? How does the mind control pain? Often a common over the counter pill does the trick when it comes to headaches. Migraines, however, are much more than a mere headache.
Migraines are incapacitating, as anyone who has ever suffered from one will tell you. There are medications and other forms of treatment for migraines but in spite of these ways of dealing with migraines, some people are out of commission days due to this dreadful headache. To understand why hypnosis is one of the most successful treatments for migraines it is helpful to understand the nature of migraines.
Migraines are triggered by changes in your body that can be set off by stress, medications, certain foods, poor sleep patterns, and other factors that vary from individual to individual. The symptoms include debilitating pain. This can include nausea and vomiting which may be the body’s reaction to the pain that seems to throb throughout the entire body. Light can also negatively affect migraine sufferers and they often need to lie still in the dark to alleviate the discomfort.
Since migraines can last for days and since they often seem impervious to pain medications, it is imperative that a faster and more effective treatment be utilized. Migraine hypnosis has been studied and shown to be highly effective – more than three times the people treated with hypnosis stopped having migraines than those who stopped having migraines after being given the prescription medication prochlorperazine.
Prochlorperazine is used for treating mental and emotional disorders, such as psychotic disorders including schizophrenia. It controls severe nausea and vomiting and moderate to severe pain. Basically it covers the painful side effects of a migraine. Speaking of side effects, the side effects of prochlorperazine include body and facial tics.
Hypnosis on the other hand does not have side effects. It is also a lot easier on your body than any heavy-duty medications. The relaxation techniques included in migraine hypnosis work on the stress factor and other such triggers. Hypnosis can help with techniques that circumvent your usual migraine inducing elements.
Besides being less expensive and less dangerous than medication, migraine hypnosis is more effective. It reaches into your subconscious and works on helping you develop ways of getting around the stress and habits that cause migraines. If you suffer from migraine headaches, you owe it to yourself to try migraine hypnotherapy.

How To Wake Up Early
Take a minute to imagine how much more productive you would be if you were able to wake up just an hour or two earlier in the morning. They’d be nothing and nobody to distract you from getting on with whatever you want! The only things stopping you are the sleeping habits that you’ve built up over the years. You may have tried in the past to reverse these habits but without the proper techniques that it’s very hard to do. Fortunately I’m going to share with you five tips that will make waking up early every morning a piece of cake!
1. Go to sleep earlier! This is perhaps the most important of these tips. Realistically you can’t expect to go to sleep at 1am and then be able to wake up as fresh as a daisy at 5am. A good rule of thumb is to aim for seven hours sleep. That means that if you want to wake up at 5am you should be going to sleep at 10pm.
2. Build a routine. The human mind responds well to routine and quickly forms routine into habit. In the example above I said that you should be asleep by 10pm, well that means you should also be in bed by 9:30pm at the latest. Even before then though you have an opportunity to prepare your mind and body for sleep. A good routine would be to finish all chores and tasks by 8pm and then to start unwinding by perhaps taking a bath and the reading a book. Try doing this for a few days and you will soon find that you actually start to become sleepy as soon as you pick up your book as your mind knows it is soon time to fall asleep according to the routine you have been following.
3. Set your alarm and place it at the other end of the room! The snooze button will probably be your worst enemy in your efforts to wake up earlier. That is why you should set for alarm for the exact time you want to wake up (don’t try and trick yourself by setting it early and then snoozing for thirty minutes) and put it somewhere where you’ll have to get up to turn it off. You might even want to set up two or three alarms in this manner!
4. Drink a drink. After you’ve been sleeping for seven hours your body will be dehydrated. That is why it’s a good idea to put a glass of water by your bed. As soon as you wake up (or turn off those alarms!) drink the full glass of water. This will hydrate and energize your body, making you feel a lot more awake and less likely to hop back into bed.
5. Program your mind. This may sound a tricky task since you’re not a robot or computer, but you can actually program your mind with a technique known as hypnosis. Hypnosis speaks to the part of your mind which holds yours habits and routines which is why it’s so effective for people looking to quit smoking or lose weight. The same can also be said of waking up early. You can find hypnosis MP3s on the subject of waking up early and they really do work!
Now you know how you can wake up early every morning I expect to see you bright and early tomorrow morning. 5am sharp!

Fighting The Fat With Hypnosis
There has been a debate that has been ongoing over how hypnosis really works. This article will not talk about that. This article will mainly focus on a certain problem that hypnosis has been proven to be effective and that would be weight loss. This article would also touch on how hypnosis will work and by the time you are done reading, you should have the understanding on how you could lose weight by hypnosis and be more confident that the said approach could help you in your dilemma.
Why would you try to lose weight? While it would be good for you that you realize you need to lose the extra pounds, it is just as important that you understand why. The simplest answer to this would be that you can never stop eating. You should understand that there is a difference, a very big one, between being hungry and having a big appetite. Even if you are already full, you still tend to continue eating. The reason for this may well be because you just love food that much but it could also be due to stress.
Stress is due to your physical responses to various triggers. These triggered could be events in your life that could range from traumatic to just mundane. When you feel like you are overworked, that could already be stress. When you are stressed out, you are tired. Because of need, you would want to continue working that would cause your body to release adrenalin to support your already worn out body. And because of that you would likely overeat just to regain energy.
This is where hypnosis would come in. This would be the perfect point when you want to lose weight by hypnosis that is. You should already know that stress is usually cured with relaxation and that would be perfect for hypnosis since relaxation is an essential part of hypnosis. Your mind should be focused on your goals before you could become hypnotized. This trance would bring about relaxation to your body while your mind is working at full speed. From that point, your thinking process would be changed through the use of affirmations which are positively themed sentences that are repeatedly said to you.
Hypnosis would work on a person’s thought process which could help him or her stop eating too much. Also, hypnosis would help in rewiring your brain so that you would see the world in different light thereby preventing stress response which is mainly caused by your negative reactions to perceived threats. If you would want to lose weight by hypnosis, you could see a professional help you. You could not only lose the extra pounds but also hypnosis could help with stress.

Hypnotic Relaxation Script
Now I would like you to make yourself comfortable… put your feet on the floor, rest your hands on your tights… and close your eyes.
I would like you to be aware of your breathing… notice how shallow and uneven is the way you are breathing. I wander if you can consciously make your breathing slower and deeper. So take a deep breath in and let it out… you can already notice that with each breath you are taking your body relax… inhale… exhale… take a deep breath in and out. Let your body to relax… and whilst you are breathing you may notice that all the tension is going out of you body and you are feeling more and more relax, comfortable and at ease.
And as you continue to pay attention to your breathing… I would like you to imagine that you are hovering over the ocean. I would like you look down at the water… to look down at this vast boundless ocean… notice its colour… pay attention to the emotions you feel when you look at it.
And as you continue to look at this ocean of stillness… allow your awareness to expand indefinitely… until it becomes like the vast, deep ocean of calmness.
And I wander if you can consciously allow this boundless ocean of calmness to expand even further. Knowing that every feeling thought and body sensation allow you to go even deeper into this boundless and unlimited calmness. Knowing that every noise outside of this room and inside of this room helps you to relax even further.
Knowing that every noise is just a signal for you to relax.
Imagine that you at the very bottom of this vast, infinitive ocean… and your every thought, feeling and body sensation drift on the surface… passing by unaware of your presence underneath.
And as you stay deep down relaxed you may become aware of how your body is comfortable and mind calm… how all the tension has gone… how your breathing become slower.
And in a few seconds time I’m going to wake you… but before I do, I’d like you to remember that you can bring back this feeling of relaxation any time you want. I would like you to know that these feelings of calmness and peace will stay with you for the rest of the day… and for the days that follow.
Every day you will become more focused on whatever you are doing… consequently your memory will improve… allowing you to remember all the information you need to remember… so every day you will feel more confident… more confident about your knowledge… more confident about your ability to cope.
And now I’m going to wake you.

Attractive Body Language
It’s been said that people pay more attention to nonverbal communication than the verbal kind. If this is indeed true then, without doubt, taking the time to master your own body language is time well spent.
This is particularly true of attracting women with your body language. Women typically respond well to men they deem to appear strong, assertive, confident and in control. So how do you make yourself appear that way? Well here are a few pointers on body language that will make you appear more attractive to any woman.
1. Slow down. A slow, steady pace of verbal and nonverbal communication is closely associated with confidence in mating psychology. Think about whenever you see someone who’s talking at a hundred miles per hour and tapping their foot and twitching. They look nervous and edgy. Slow down your speech and movements and you will immediately look confident and in control.
2. Hand gestures. Think about all the best orators in history and how they used hand gestures to engage people when they talked. Practice using hand gestures while you talk to people, but as I said below, make sure your movements are slow and confident.
3. Create your own space. Whenever you’re in a room, especially if there’s quite a number of people there, create your own space where you have a couple of feet all around you where no-one else is standing. This shows that you are confident enough to mark your territory.
4. Lean back. Rather than leaning in when you talk to a woman you should actually lean back a little. This makes them lean in to listen to you and puts you in control of the situation.
5. Open up. Stand with your legs slightly apart and your arms at your sides (not crossed) so you appear more relaxed and open. You should also directly face the person you are talking to.
6. Control your posture. Imagine that you’re the President of America. Are you going to be walking around with your head held high, shoulders back, chest out and back straight? Of course you are, you’d be the most powerful man in the world! Just because you’re not the President doesn’t mean you can’t act like you’re not. Women respect power.
7. Remain controlled. Never act as if you’re excited to talk to someone. That doesn’t mean not to act friendly but if you let your emotions take control then women will lose respect for you and think you’re needy.
I hope these tips will help you to improve your body language and attract more women.
